為了避免重倒覆轍，現在就要開始一點一點慢慢寫我的京都紀行。
上個月就預定好一家日式旅館「京町家旅館櫻」在 Trip Advisor 和 Booking.com 的評價都很高。想說來京都一定要住日式旅館，但是高級的老旅館讓人望之卻步，許多旅館也早已客滿了。後來發現這家櫻花旅館價格合理，交通又很方便的樣子。可惜的是它看起來雖像是古老的日式旅館，卻是全新裝修的。但不管如何，還是有滿足我想睡在榻榻米上面的心願。
開始籌備行程之後，就發現不會日文是一件很傷腦筋的事情，因為許多餐廳都只接受日文電話預約...
所以我就發了 email 給京町家旅館櫻，看看能不能幫我訂菊乃井的懷石料理 (是的我決定爽朗地帶我媽媽去吃價格高貴的米其林餐廳)。想利用星期五晚上到達京都以後的零碎時間去吃晚餐。

1 . we would like to ask which price would you like to reserve ?
There are four price of the Kaiseki which are
懐石15,750円、18,900円、21,000円、26,
The difference are the quality of the ingredients.
2. Do you have any allergics or you do not eat somehing such as wasabi ,
meat ?
3. As you will arrive on Sept 27 , will you come to ryokan in the afternoon
? which city or country of perior destination ?
** We asked this becuse Kikunoi restaurant is quite strict in making
reservation .
if your flight delayed or something you have to pay 100 % for the
meal , once you booked this meal .
They could not permit to change the date .

令人驚奇的非常 readable! 而且很細心地替我們考慮到可能會出現的問題 (例如萬一飛機誤點晚餐無法退費)。
之後跟這位英文流利的Ann Lina小姐郵件往返了幾次，她都非常客氣並且回覆相當迅速。
當我上網跟染匠預約和服體驗，收到這種不知云云又讓人泄氣的答案之後：

立刻想到了 Ann Lina 小姐，麻煩她打電話幫我預約看看。果然，雖然染匠在我們旅遊的那幾天都約滿了，她仍然有辦法幫我安插一個位子。看到這麼詳細的回函，真的覺得 Ann Lina 小姐好棒!
